Ever since our launch in Cookeville on July 4th, our sights were set on expansion to the surrounding community of Sparta.

Ever since our launch in Cookeville on July 4th, we had our eyes on expanding to the surrounding community of Livingston, and we’re happy that that day has finally come.
Drover 4th of July Grand Opening in Cookeville - Let's Drove!
Drover Rideshare is happy to announce that we will be opening for business on July 4th! Riders will be able to place rides through the app in Cookeville, TN starting on that date, with more cities to follow shortly after. We at Drover Rideshare are so excited to bring our service to town, as the founder, Jeff Garland, and many of the others involved call Cookeville our home. It will be a pleasure to bring affordable, eco-friendly Rideshare to our Cookeville community.

Our goal is to provide a service that gives back to the local community in a couple of different unique ways, such as providing a fun and positive environment to our riders as well as giving back to the community through our philanthropy initiatives. 2% of every fare is donated to a local or Tennessee based charity, and we hope that through providing our service to the community, we can make a strong and positive impact. If you’re interested in becoming a driver, please read our Drive for Drover page and see if you’d be a good fit! We strive to provide a welcoming and encouraging environment to all potential Drovers and hope that you’ll reach out and apply. Although our launch on July 4th is for the Cookeville market, we are looking for drivers in a wide array of markets across Tennessee. As of December 2015, 1,260,000 pure EVs and plug-in hybrids existed across the world, a number 100 times higher than the world's EV stock (population/amount of EVs in the world) in 2010 (1). Pure electric vehicles are at the core of our current and future business model.

Jeffrey Garland, Founder and CEO of Drover, wouldn't be the same man -- and Drover wouldn't be the same company - without his wife, Dr. Scarlett Garland, DNP. Since Jeff and Scarlett married in November 2015, Scarlett has dutifully supported Jeff's entrepreneurial spirit and initiative in founding Drover. In addition to being Jeff's #! advocate and supporter, she leads an accomplished career as a Doctor of Nurse Practice.

I lived in New Jersey for about 8 months before moving to Tennessee. I live in Cookeville, Tennessee and went to highschool there. My Experiences with Uber
Before coming to Nashville to study at Vanderbilt, I had never heard of Uber or ridesharing in general. Since then however, I have taken over 75 rides in Uber and Lyft combined. Given this, I feel like I have enough experience now to comment on ridesharing from the perspective of a rider. Drover Rideshare hopes to uniquely serve riders and drivers with our Green Culture.
