Drover Rideshare is expanding again, this time to Crossville, TN! We are so thrilled to announce to the public for the first time today that the people of Crossville will be able to request affordable rides through our mobile apps starting October 3rd. We hope that by bringing Drover to Crossville, we will be able to provide the people of Crossville with exceptional service as well as create opportunities for people who want to make some extra cash being a driver. We’re so excited to get started!
We will be having a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Crossville Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, October 3rd at 10 AM that is open to the public. If you’d like to be a part of Drover history, stop on by! All perspective drivers and riders are encouraged to attend, and you’ll get a chance to meet and greet the Drover Rideshare team. In a nutshell, Drover Rideshare is a Rideshare company with a focus on providing exceptional service to our riders and drivers as well as empowering our communities in various ways. We’re not just a transportation company, but a technology company as well. The power and ubiquity of the modern smartphone is what makes Drover Rideshare possible, as harnessing that power allows us to connect local drivers to local riders in real-time. We hope to continue innovating in the technology space as we grow.
Another big difference in the way that Drover operates is the pricing. Drover will be the most affordable Rideshare in Crossville when compared to the competitors. We are very proud of this fact and have worked hard to find a way to make it possible, and will strive to keep our prices affordable for as long as we are a company. When it comes to surge pricing that some of our competitors have, Drover does not partake in that practice. Prices for Drover Rideshare are always the same, and do not fluctuate with supply and demand. This means that no matter how busy things are, if there is a driver waiting for a rider, you can request a ride from them at the same rate you’d normally pay. One big way we like to give back to the community is through philanthropy. We donate 2% of every single fare to a local, Tennessee based charity of the drivers choosing. This is one of the things we are most proud about - we hope that we can make a positive impact on many lives through this initiative and are so excited to see how it affects the Crossville community after the launch.
